Terms of Service

1. Parties and Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Dhanadh Trading and Investments Pvt Ltd (“KidGPT.in”, “we”, or “Company”) and the school entity (“School” or “Customer”) that registers for and uses the KidGPT.in platform.
By completing the school registration form or using any part of the platform, the authorised representative of the School agrees to these Terms on behalf of the School. If you do not have authority to bind the School, do not proceed with registration.
2. Description of Service
KidGPT.in provides the following services to CBSE-affiliated schools:
- • A CBSE-aligned Composite Skill Lab (CSL) curriculum library with 38,000+ items in English and Hindi
- • An AI Lesson Assistant for teachers to generate session plans (powered by AWS Bedrock)
- • A Teacher Dashboard for progress tracking and rubric scoring
- • A Parent Portal for student portfolio visibility and Demo Day coordination
- • A CSL Readiness Report and compliance documentation framework
3. Subscription Tiers and Payment
All prices are in Indian Rupees. GST (18%) is applicable. Invoices will be issued with the School's GSTIN if provided. Payment terms: net 15 days from invoice date.
4. Permitted Use
The School may use KidGPT.in solely for:
- ✓ Internal curriculum delivery and teacher training within the registered school
- ✓ Generating AI lesson plans for classes taught at the School
- ✓ Sharing student portfolios with parents of enrolled students
- ✓ Preparing CSL documentation for CBSE compliance submissions
The School may not:
- ✗ Resell, sublicence, or share access credentials with other schools or organisations
- ✗ Scrape, download in bulk, or reproduce curriculum content outside the platform
- ✗ Use AI-generated content to train competing AI models
- ✗ Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access backend systems
- ✗ Allow unsupervised AI interactions by students under 18
5. Intellectual Property
All curriculum content, AI-generated lesson plans, platform code, and brand assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Dhanadh Trading and Investments Pvt Ltd and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957.
The School receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content solely for the permitted uses described in Section 4. AI-generated lesson plans created using the Lesson Assistant may be used freely within the School for teaching purposes.
6. School Responsibilities
- • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials and promptly report any unauthorised access
- • Ensure AI-generated lesson plans are reviewed by a qualified teacher before use in class
- • Obtain parental consent before uploading or displaying student work via the Parent Portal
- • Use the platform in compliance with CBSE guidelines and applicable Indian law
- • Keep school profile information (email, CBSE number, contact details) up to date
7. AI Disclaimer
Important: AI Content is Teacher-Reviewed
Lesson plans and content generated by the AI Lesson Assistant are intended as starting-point drafts for qualified educators. KidGPT.in does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or pedagogical appropriateness of AI-generated content. Teachers are responsible for reviewing, adapting, and approving all AI outputs before use with students.
8. Service Availability and SLA
We target 99% monthly uptime for the KidGPT.in platform, excluding scheduled maintenance (communicated 48 hours in advance) and events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).
If uptime falls below 99% in a calendar month, the School may request a pro-rata credit of the monthly subscription fee for the affected period. This is the School's sole remedy for downtime.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KidGPT.in's total cumulative liability for any claims arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the School in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for: (a) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; (b) loss of data caused by School-side errors; (c) failure to achieve CSL compliance due to factors outside our control; (d) actions taken based on AI-generated content without teacher review.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription:
- • School: With 60 days written notice (email to admin@kidgpt.in). Refund per Section 3.
- • KidGPT.in: Immediately if the School materially breaches these Terms and fails to remedy within 14 days of written notice.
Upon termination, the School's access to the platform ceases. School data will be retained for 30 days post-termination for export purposes, then deleted per our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Uttar Pradesh, India. We encourage resolution through good-faith negotiation before litigation. For disputes below ₹10 lakhs, both parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed mediator within 45 days.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our service or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated to registered school administrators via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
